![]() ![]() We didnt have to wait more than 20 minutes for any ride.Īt about 6pm we went back to the hotel to spend time in the pool. They take safety seriously here and on some rides measured kids twice and did a proper security check which i appreciated. Our 4 year old just made the height requirements to go on all the rides with one adult which was great. The resort is perfect for kids under 10 years of age. Their sleeping area was so perfect and they had their very own tv! The second day they got two more mini sets but not as a scavenger hunt, just on their beds. Once they unlocked the chest, there were two mini sets in there, one for each of them. The boys were so excited to get into the room and do the scavenger hunt. We got to the Lego resort at 12 noon, and we had paid the extra US$65 for noon check-in and was really worth it. We drove down from Toronto, spending one night in Binghimton as we didnt think our boys could stay in a car for 6.5 hours. Our experience in the resort was fabulous - much better than I ever thought! We went to Lego Resort New York with our 4 yr and 7yr sons. They're aren't supposed to turn you down(or ignore you). She told us to hold on and never got back to us and my son was extremely disappointed and sad. Now that I'm writing this I just remembered my son wanted to trade his Lego figure for this cute puppy mini figure one of the staff had. Service could've been better( you'll wait at least 20 mins to pay your bill). Both restaurants could have used more dining options as well but everything for dinner was pretty good. The fruit salad was pretty much not edible at all(only the blueberries were decent) with the price we pay to stay it definitely could've and should've been better. It would've been great if everything (waffles, pancakes, bagels and muffins) werent all very hard, cold, and dried out. Another place for improvement is the included breakfast. A shuttle from each individual park sight (pirate, kingdom,Ninjago and miniland) would be even better! My next complaint is that the kids get a surprise for every night you stay at the hotel ( we stayed 3 nights) we got repeat surprises and ended up with six sets of the same exact Legos.for what we pay to stay this should not have happened and made the children disappointed. The park definitely needs some kind of transportation from the bottom of the incline to the entrance of the park at the very least. I logged over 10,000 steps in the park on my first day alone. Everything in the park from the park entrance is all the way way way downhill and you have to walk back up this great big incline pushing strollers and carrying whatever you might have acquired throughout your travels between all the different parts of Legoland. The walk from the hotel to the park isn't super lengthy BUT when you're toting children around and diaper bags and have grandparents with you a shuttle would've been extremely nice. Their are some things that need a lot of improvement the most major and important thing being some kind of transportation or shuttle/tram. First The kids loved it, it truly is an excellent place for children(if you can afford it, it's extremely pricey). I could go into a quite lengthy review about this place but I'll try and keep it from being too long. There are plenty of places to eat and get drinks and ice cream but this could be improved as well. If it weren’t for the lines, the whole thing would be amazing. It’s super colorful and fun and well designed in terms of using LEGO style blocks for everything and using the themes from the toys. Overall the design is nice and there is lots of walking, the area has some hills so you’ll get exercise. The food and gifts seem very expensive and this takes away from the experience. There are signs warning people of the time wait and an app where you can pay to skip the lines. On the one hand this is an amazing and fun experience but the lines for most of the rides, such as little boats, can seem to stretch into 30 minutes or almost an hour wait. There are roller coasters and cars to drive, a fire department activity and lots of places to play with Lego. The park includes a hotel and also a number of theme areas such as a castle, coast guard and city area, an area to drive cars as well as Ninjango and pirate themed sites. ![]() Long lines that around last half an hour or more, expensive food and drinks and games make the otherwise very cool attractions and theme park a bit dreary. ![]()
